Nestled in the southeastern corner of Wyoming, near the fictional town of Winds Reach is 2 Hearts Rescue Ranch, where Jay Kenderson started his dream after his breakup from Cody Jewelles. You can read about their story in Rescued Love. The ranch takes in horses, cats, dogs, and other creatures including chickens, many of whom will show up in future stories.
This is an open-ended erotic romance short story series focused on LGBT characters. Each story can stand alone, though characters from other stories make appearances from time to time, so you’ll want to read their stories as well. Occasionally a couple’s tale will need more than a short story space and longer works will be part of this series as well.
The Concept
Founding author, W.M. Kirkland, has rescued animals for too many years to count. With a love of stories featuring great romances, as well as powerful supporting animal characters, W.M. thought of the first book, Rescued Love, and the series spiraled from there.
Who do you support?
Proceeds from the books are given as donations to various animal rescue organizations. W.M. will be supporting organizations within the local area, as well as national ones. Other participating authors are encouraged to let us know about their favorite rescue organizations to put them on the list for donations. We’ll also update the newsletter, and this site, when donations are made, keeping in mind that Amazon and other ebook vendors pay approximately 60 days after the close of the month.
